NEW FEATURE: Fashion Friday!

I have fallen head over heels for Polyvore. If you haven't been there before, I suggest you take a minute to check it out. Polyvore is a great tool that allows you to assemble outfits and more into a pleasing vignette that you can share with others. What is wonderful about it is that you can search and shop from the site. I have discovered several store just by using the search term boxes. Take some time and mess around on the site. I promise you will love the concept.

I have been using Polyvore to help me assemble outfits for an upcoming vacation. On December 5th, Nathan and I will be going to Kauai, therefore I am looking for appropriately tropical outfits to wear. Here is my very first attempt:

Aside from the $300 hat, which I stuck in there because it was just too unique, it is a very reasonably priced outfit. You could obviously substitute in a less expensive floppy hat to complete the look.

I love fuchsia. Mixed with white, fuchsia really pops. I adore the shorts, which have pink and grey flowers. I MUST have them! This whole outfit costs under $65, and the shoes and accessories are certainly useable with other outfits.

 

I would love to see what cost-friendly Hawaiian-inspired sets you have created using polyvore. If I like them i just might feature them here! So get to creating!
